Though I haven't been able to devote my days to horses (if only...) I have been able to work on a few customs. Well, one in particular - this CWP. When I first got the body, I was planning to paint her a palomino or buckskin, but I decided she'd look better in bay. I'm not quite done with her yet, I still need to add a bit more shading and of course paint the eyes.
Also, I decided to try my hand at sculpting. Since I didn't think I was ready to do a full ho
rse, I did a medallion instead. I quite astonished myself with how it looked, seeing as I can barely draw a horse. I tried making a plaster mold, which went alright. I made a copy in sculpey, as that was the only thing I had on hand that would make a permanent copy. It's far from perfect, but for a first try, I don't think it's that bad!
